The PNAOW delegates had a great time and had an excellent learning experience. This year's
conference had the highest attendance with 77 new comers and around 500 total members. "Engage and Make a Difference"
was the theme and it was awesome to witness PNAA coming together and getting stronger. A feeling of solidarity from
all attendees. Rey Rivera, PNAA President, shared his vision to make this organization a world class leader. We all feel
proud to be a part of this association.
PAST EVENT:
Western Regional Conference Course Objectives
- Discuss the new and changing directions of health care, how it affects the
nurses’ role globally and how nurses can be empowered to meet these changes.
- Recognize the reality based application of modern technology, principles
and strategies that foster cultural transformation of evidence based practice in the clinical setting.
- Integrate knowledge learned about sexual orientation to provide culturally
competent care.
- Evaluate expanded nurses’ roles, change in practice and standards of
care.
- Translate advances in genomics into medical benefits in the care of patients
and how a
nurse can provide competent care to all individuals, families, communities
at risk for
genetic disorders or disease.

PNAOW is collecting relief goods to ship to typhoon victims in
Cagayan de Oro. The deadline for collecting all items is January 14th and January 16th to be the shipment date thru
LBC. We are collecting old clothes, shoes, non-perishable food items...
